CONFIRM WRIT AT PERSONAL PROPERTY REGISTRY

 

PURPOSES:

This screen allows MIMS user to confirm the writ has been updated on the APPRES application.

 

PREREQUISITES:

 

MIMS user must be an authorized actor to update on this screen.

                  The following actors have the ability to update:

             

·         Call Center Agents

·         Collection Support Agents

·         Compliance 4 Agents

·         Compliance 5 Agents

·         File Intervention Agents

·         MEP Senior Managements

·         ISO Agents

·         RGPU Agents

·         Special Investigation Unit Agents

·         System Administrator

 

HELPFUL HINTS:

 

·         All the above actors can confirm the PPR has been completed on the APPRES application however if you are not the actor to enter the details you should not mark the tool as confirmed.  The Registration number is mandatory.

·         The collection Support Agent can assess this screen by linking on the file from the work list or by linking on the PPR from the Collection Tool History screen.

A)        Collection tool history displays the updated details

B)         An Event log is created

C)         L30 Notice of Filing at Personal Properties Registries letter will be issued to the Debtor if the writ at PPR was against the Debtor (Correspondence Log will be created)

D)        No letter will be issued if the writ was against “Other”

Select this once the PPR has been registered on the APPRES application.  This is the default value

Registration #

Enter the PPR Registration number here.  Mandatory when Completed selected.

Abandoned

Select this when the PPR is not required to be completed on the APPRES application for whatever reason.

Remarks Only

Select this when the only change to the tool is adding remarks about the tool.

Additional Remarks

Enter applicable remarks here.

Mandatory when Abandoned or Remarks only selected. Maximum characters = 200.

Saves the update to the file.

Returns the user to the collection tool history screen

Requested By

Displays the actor that requested the task

Details

Displays what the actor requested.  Once the task has been marked completed this segment no longer appears

Lien Against

Displays who the writ it to be done against.

Displays the User who requested the PPR.

Confirm Date

Displays the Date the PPR was confirmed by the support staff

Confirmed By

Displays who marked the task completed.

Displays the Party on whom the writ was placed.

Displays the amount of the enforceable arrears registered on the writ.

Remarks

Remarks by

Displays only when remarks are added to the file.  Displays the content of the remarks the User who added the remarks and the date the remarks were added to the tool.

UPDATE WRIT AT PERSONAL PROPERTY REGISTRY

 

PURPOSES:

This screen allows MIMS users to update the writ at personal Property Registry.

 

PREREQUISITES:

 

            MIMS user must be an authorized actor to update on this screen.

                  The following actors have the ability to update:                                                         

 

·         Call Center Agents

·         Collection Support Agents

·         Compliance 4 Agents

·         Compliance 5 Agents

·         File Intervention Agents

·         MEP Senior Managements

·         ISO Agents

·         RGPU Agents

·         Special Investigation Unit Agents

·         System Administrator

 

HELPFUL HINTS:

 

·         History: When all files were converted from METS to MIMS there was no was of capturing what the dollar amount outstanding at the time the PPR was requested therefore they will read  $1.00.  If the registration number was never entered into the METS application the only way to capture this detail in MIMS will be via the additional remarks.

·         Select Update when the balance of arrears needs to be update on the PPR application.

·         Select if the need arises to discharge one specific item list details in special instructions

·         Special Instructions display within the content of the work task for the Collection Support agent.

·         Upon Save a work task is issued to the MEP Personal Property Registries work list with all the required details included to update the PPR on the external application.

·         The Work task issued to update the PPR is a high priority work task.

·         File must have enforceable arrears greater than 0 to update balance

Enter any applicable comments about the tool.

This screen allows MIMS users to view a PPR record that is no longer editable.

 

PREREQUISITES:

           

            MIMS user must be an authorized actor to update on this screen.

                  The following actors have the ability to update:
