FEDERAL LICENSE DENIAL – UPDATE & CONFIRM REGISTRATION

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows MIMS users to confirm the request for a federal license denial.

 

1.        MIMS user must have applicable security authorization to view files.

            The following groups have access to this screen:

 

·         Call Center Agent

·         Collection Agents (RGPU, File Intervention, Compliance 4)

·         Compliance Support Agent (confirmation only)

·         Compliance 5 Agent

·         MEP Senior Management

·         MIMS

·         ISO Agent

·         SIU Agent

·         Supervisor/Team Lead

Procedure:

 

Registration Updates

1.       Select the appropriate ‘Next Step’:

·               ‘Issue Denial’ – select this option to issue the federal license denial.

·               ‘Reschedule’ – select this option to reschedule the federal license denial, ensure that a bring forward date has been entered in the field provided.

·               ‘Abandon’ – select this option to abandon the issue of a federal license denial.

·               ‘Remarks Only’ – select this option to enter only remarks regarding the file, ensure that you enter your comments in the field box labeled ‘Additional Remarks’.

2.       Click the ‘Save’ button to save your entry.

3.       Your entry will be displayed under the ‘Status’ area of the screen and must be approved by a supervisor/team lead.

Approval (by supervisor or other authorized user)

1.       Select the appropriate ‘Next Step’ in the Approval section:

·               ‘Approve’ – select this option to approve the federal license denial.

·               ‘Deny’ – select this option to deny the issue of the federal license denial.

·               ‘Remarks Only’ – select this option to enter only remarks regarding the file, ensure that you enter your comments in the field box labeled ‘Additional Remarks’.

2.       Click the ‘Save’ button to save your entry.

3.      Your entry will be displayed under the ‘Status’ area of the screen and is sent to collection’s work list to be confirmed.

 

Confirmation by Support Staff

1.       Select the appropriate ‘Status’ of the confirmation:

·               ‘Confirm’ – select this option to confirm the federal license denial, ensure to enter submitter and control number in the allotted fields. (this is where the support staff have gone on to the Federal database to request the FLD, must be confirmed by the Feds before it is active)

·               ‘Abandon’ – select this option to abandon the issue of the federal license denial.

·               ‘Remarks Only’ – select this option to enter only remarks regarding the file, ensure that you enter your comments in the field box labeled ‘Additional Remarks’.

2.       Click the ‘Save’ button to save your entry.

3.       Your entry will be displayed under the ‘Status’ area of the screen.

Abandon

Select this option if you wish to abandon the registration process of a FLD.

Remarks Only

Select this option if you only wish to enter comments regarding the file.

Additional Remarks.

Enter your comments regarding the federal license denial warning.

Maximum length of 200 characters.

Approval

Approve

Select this option to approve the FLD.

Deny

Select this option to deny the issue of a FLD.

Remarks Only

Select this option if you only wish to enter comments regarding the file.

Additional Remarks.

Enter your comments regarding the federal license denial warning.

Confirmation

Confirm

Select this option to confirm the status of the FLD.

Submitter Number

Enter the submitter number if the FLD was confirmed.

Control Number

Enter the control number if the FLD was confirmed.

Abandon

Select this option to abandon to the federal license denial.

Remarks Only

Select this option if you only wish to enter comments regarding the file.

Additional Remarks

Enter your comments regarding the federal license denial warning.

Maximum length of 200 characters.

FEDERAL LICENSE DENIAL – CONFIRMATION AFTER FED APPLICATION

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows MIMS users to confirm the acceptance of a federal license denial request.

 

1.       MIMS user must have applicable security authorization to view files.

            The following groups have access to this screen:

 

·         Call Center Agent

·         Collection Agents (RGPU, File Intervention, Compliance 4)

·         Compliance Support Agent

·         Compliance 5 Agent

·         MEP Senior Management

·         MIMS

·         ISO Agent

·         SIU Agent

·         Supervisor/Team Lead

Procedure:

 

1.        Select the appropriate ‘Next Step’:

·         ‘Confirm’ – select this option to confirm the federal license denial once confirmed by the federal application.

·         ‘Reject’ – select this option to reject the federal license denial if the application is rejected by the Feds.

·         ‘Reschedule’ – select this option to reschedule the federal license denial, ensure to enter the bring forward date and to enter comments in the ‘Additional Remarks’ field box.

·         ‘Remove’ – select this option to remove the current active federal license denial.

·         ‘Remarks Only’ – select this option to enter only remarks regarding the file, ensure that you enter your comments in the field box labeled ‘Additional Remarks’.

2.        Click the ‘Save’ button to save your entry.

3.        Your entry will be displayed under the ‘Status’ area of the screen.

FEDERAL LICENCE DENIAL - REMOVAL

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows MIMS users to remove the denial of a debtor’s federal license.

 

1.        MIMS user must have applicable security authorization to view files.

            The following groups have access to this screen:

 

·         Call Center Agent

·         Collection Agents (RGPU, File Intervention, Compliance 4)

·         Compliance Support Agent (confirmation only)

·         Compliance 5 Agent

·         MEP Senior Management

·         ISO Agent

·         SIU Agent

·         Supervisor/Team Lead

Letters:

·         L53 – Remove Federal Restriction

 

Procedure:

 

1.       To remove the FLD, click the ‘Remove’ option.

2.       To add remarks only, simply click the ‘Remarks Only’ option and enter your comments into the ‘Additional Remarks’ field box.

3.       Click the ‘Save’ button to save your entry.

 

Confirmation by Support Staff of the Federal License Denial Removal

1.       Select the appropriate ‘Status’ of the confirmation:

·               ‘Confirm’ – select this option to confirm the federal license denial removal (this is where the support staff have gone on to the Federal database to request the FLD be removed, must be confirmed by the Feds before it is done)

·               ‘Abandon’ – select this option to abandon the removal of the federal license denial.

·               ‘Remarks Only’ – select this option to enter only remarks regarding the file, ensure that you enter your comments in the field box labeled ‘Additional Remarks’.

2.       Click the ‘Save’ button to save your entry.

3.       User is returned to the Collection Tool History.  This concluded collection tool may only be viewed by viewing the Alter Criteria option of the Collection Tool History and selecting Concluded.

Your entry will be displayed under the ‘Status’ area of the screen.
